Lambertville, NJ. (9/23/21) Two acupuncturists will be offering a free, pop-up acupuncture clinic on Saturdays from 3-5pm at Sheridan Park on York Street in Lambertville to help relieve stress and reduce the trauma response to the recent floods, starting on September 25th.
After witnessing the devastation caused by Hurricane Ida, licensed acupuncturist Alison Morgan reached out to her colleague to see how they could support those suffering from the stress and trauma of the floods.
“It’s hard to see your neighbors and friends suffering. The outpouring of help for those in need has been really uplifting and beautiful. Acupuncture can be such a great stress reliever and has a history of helping folks through trauma, so we hope this offering will support our amazing community, all the people rebuilding and also all the volunteers helping to rebuild,” says licensed acupuncturist Nicole Maniez.
With the support of the City of Lambertville and Acupuncturists Without Borders, an international non-profit providing community care after disasters, this clinic will run for the next few Saturdays weather permitting. Spanish translation available.
